About Dr Crawford
Dr Julia Crawford is a highly respected Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist. A cornerstone of Dr Crawford’s practice is to ensure her patients are treated with compassion and are cared for throughout their patient journey.
Specialising in general and paediatric ENT conditions, head and neck cancer surgery, benign disorders of the head and neck, robotic surgery, and the surgical management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, Dr Crawford has extensive training in nasal and sinus issues, thyroid and salivary gland surgery and is one of only a handful of Fellowship trained Robotic Head and Neck Surgeons in Australia.

Dr Crawford is dedicated to offering her patients the latest specialised ENT treatment modalities, including robotic surgery for the management of head and neck cancers, snoring and sleep apnoea.
Driven to achieve improved outcomes, she continues in her own professional development and is a respected lecturer and trainer of Australian and International ENT specialists providing education for robotic surgical techniques for surgeons worldwide.
Dr Crawford bases her practice on a patient-centric approach, and she, together with her team, always ensures patients are treated with respect and receive optimum care.
Passionate about teaching and research, Dr Crawford is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of NSW. She co-initiated and continues to be the co-director of the St Vincent’s Head and Neck Surgery Cadaver Course and remains as a course director for the International Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Course. This is one of the few hands-on sleep apnoea surgery courses worldwide and is lauded for the successful training it provides to surgeons from around the world.
Her ongoing involvement in teaching and training exposes Dr Crawford to the latest advancements in the management of ENT conditions, further enabling her to provide patients in her care with the latest state-of-the-art surgical techniques and non-surgical treatment methods.
Spending time to listen and fully understand her patient’s concerns whilst ensuring they understand her recommendations and are involved with treatment decisions is a part of Dr Crawford’s treatment philosophy. Her goal for her patients is to create and administer a clear and concise treatment plan to achieve the best possible outcome.
